Puss in Boots (Movie Review)

Puss in Boots

Antonio Banderas is always cool and that thick accent definitely suits the character of Puss in Dreamworks’ new animated flick Puss in Boots. The Shrek take on fairy tale characters abound in here and there are genuinely funny moments that make Puss in Boots a great watch. Kids will love the colourful characters they’ll encounter throughout the story and adults will definitely enjoy the makers’ take on characters such as Humpty Dumpty, Jack & Jill and the legend of the Golden Goose.

I watched it in 2D but the movie seems like it might have some decent 3D effects in it but then again I think I’ve given up on 3D movies for now as it seems to be more a gimmick then something that truly gives you a wow experience.

I give Puss in Boots a meowing 4 out of 5.
