I spent a fun but short weekend in Cameron Highlands last week and finally after 3 trips to Camerons this year I finally got to visit the BOH Sg Palas Visitor Centre that’s located in Brinchang, nearby Kea Farm. You can’t miss the road that leads there cos’ BOH set up a HUGE signboard just off the main road that points you to the place. It’s a beautiful spot and I’m glad that we made time to visit the place on Sunday morning. We had a nice breakfast there surrounded by the tea fields amidst the chatter of other visitors.
What I enjoyed most about the place was the fact that it overlooks the tea fields and built with glass windows all over. It was nice. 🙂
The visitor centre is not just about eating & drinking though, cos’ BOH thoughtfully constructed simple exhibits that explains interesting tea facts and the history of BOH as a company and brand. It made for interesting reading after we had eaten our fill. Heh heh.
The BOH Sg Palas Visitor Centre is definitely a great place and classily done. It’s one of the better spots to visit in Camerons and the best part about it all is that it’s FREE! No entrance fees required. We didn’t get to go on the tour of the tea factory this time round so I guess I’ll have to visit the place again the next time I’m up in Camerons.
Hope you guys enjoyed the pix!
