I really like Brendan Fraser for some reason. His last outing in The Mummy wasn’t that good but he does pretty well in this one. It’s a fantasy flick in a sense with seasoned with a dash of storybook wonderment. I enjoyed the hour-and-a-half that I spent in the cinema. Andy Serkis does a great job as the villain Capricorn while Paul Bettany (who somehow comes across as the main character in some ways) is brilliant as the torn anti-hero Dustfinger.

Catch this one if you grew up on fairy tales & have a penchant for fantasy. I give this one 3 out of 5. An enjoyable flick overall.
